I don't have much time to write this week, but we had changes today!
I got a call from president Friday night and he told me that as of Monday (today) I'll be training a new missionary. So now I'm here in Ecatepec with my new comp Elder Rodriguez! Write to you soon! Elder Dale. We visited the Teotihuacán pyramids today. They are amazing! TEOTIHUACAN is located thirty miles northeast of Mexico City, and is the site of a major complex of ruins. Various dates have been assigned to them, but they appear to have been built about 300 B.C., during Book of Mormon times. The largest building that remains is the Pyramid of the Sun. The Aztec name of this beautiful city, Teotihuacan, means “The Place Where the Gods Reside.”
Yeah its been good!
I've loved these days in Jardines. I am getting to know the area better and I am helping my comp a little bit more. Mexico celebrated Dia de los Muertos, which is very similar to Halloween. My area is very small but there are a decent amount of people. We had a family of 5 come to church yesterday and I hope to be able to get them baptized! Elder Dale |
