This training has gone by kinda quick! I am seeing blessings of the Lord in my life and especially in the lives of those we are sharing the message of the gospel with! I love this area and cambios (comp changes) are in a week! Its crazy! 1. This week I was asked by a school to judge an English Speeling Bee! It was awesome and Elder Butler (LZ/ZL) came as well and Hermana Abilla from my district! We had a bunch of fun helping young Mexican students with their English! 2. We had 4 investigators at church! WOW! thats about the most we've ever had! and we placed two new baptismal dates for the children of a family we are reactivating! 3. Surprise! Baptism! On Friday Elena was baptized and we were so happy! She quit smoking and is now a confirmed member of the Church! Its awesome to see how the Lord works and especially how the spirit works! Now one of her daughters wants to get baptized as well! This week was crazy and very rewarding! I loved it so much! Elena's baptism! Hermana Teresa went to Utah and took my mom some Mexican candy from me for mother's day. Eating at Hermana Coko Ortega Marin

Time has flown by! holy molly and I'm almost done with my training! I have this week and next then I'm either shipping out of bosques or getting a new comp! My comp right now is super cool and I'm gonna be sad when he leaves :( but I'm super happy with this area and especially for the members! 1. Carmen is doing good but hurt her shoulder again! Idk if she will get baptized but if she does, we are gonna use two people to do it! ha ha 2. Had exchanges with the LZ´s and they are super cool! Their area is huge and we walked a ton! It was sick! I love pachuca and all of its people! 2.5 I still havent been called Son of Trump or anything like that yet (knock on wood) but everyone asks me if i voted this past election and i just try to change the subject haha. 3. Cubitos is the bomb! Super ghetto and lots of high people (we cant go at night) but they are hysterical sometimes. Most of them jus t say hi then keep walking by. Most of them are super humble because its the poorest part of pachuca :) Peace out! -Elder Dale Photos: Cubitos from up high; Me my trainer and his other ´´Son´´ my bro Elder Jones; The AP´s. chicharron with cream, tomatoes and hot sauce and some sort of pig fat
This week has been cool! We are progressing with Carmen more and more, trying to strengthen her testimony! Elena is basically another mom for us missionaries. she watches out for us and feeds us! They are progressing! Had my video call yesterday as well as many other missionaries and it was awesome! I don't have any pics this week (forgive me ill repent later) :) But here are some pics of our last zone conference in Pachuca Centro from our mission blog, can you find me? Peace out for now.
-Elder Dale I got my mom her favorite chocolates for Mother's Day...Yumm...And talked to her and Nuri over Skype. Happy Mother's Day!
So this week has been pretty cool! I had exchanges with Elder Smith in APAN. He is getting kind of sad because he has a month left but I helped him stay happy. Carmen our investigator is progressing! She accepted a baptismal date for this month! She also told us she had a dream where she was all dressed in white and one of us was helping her walk into some clear water (but she couldnt see faces) haha. It kinda freaked me out but it was super cool! Elena our other investigator is doing alright but she needs a push to accept a baptismal date :) Today we went to the ZOO! the zoo´s here are way cooler than the USA. Its ghetto here and I petted a giraffe and held a jaguar! Pics right here! Petting the Jaguar.....
Well I'm about 2 months in. I don't know if that's supposed to mean something or what but its true :) we had transfers but me and Elder Rosales stayed because I'm still in training (yay! Its pretty cool) This week has been alright. Vacation time is over so we are finding more people at home.
This week we taught Carmen again and she came to church! Even though she wasn't at her full capacity to come she still did and we got a (5 year) inactive member to take her and we reactivated her! Carmen is living and keeping all commandments that her injury lets her. She is a champ! Shell most likely get baptized (fingers crossed) but in the mean time we are going to help and support her! Today we had our zone activity and it was a huge nerf war at our church. pretty sweet! and the knock off nerf guns here in Mexico hurt! This mish is a blast and me and my comp are working hard to get results! -Elder Dale |
